Mail.Ru has announced the opening of an R & D center in Nizhny Novgorod, which will focus on developing the software part of the company's new projects. At the moment, there is already a
set of web programmers and HTML-makers from among local residents.
The office in Nizhny Novgorod became the first Mail.Ru development center outside of Moscow. Since the rent of offices and programmers' salaries in the province is several times lower than in the capital, this will significantly reduce the costs of one of the largest Internet companies in Russia, whose staff has already grown to 250 people.
“In order not to lose our leading position in the market, we are launching more and more new projects and are actively developing existing ones,” says Mail.Ru CEO Dmitry Grishin. - As a result, we constantly need qualified specialists who are able to create and maintain high-load systems. We are looking for personnel across the country, many talented developers come to us to work from the regions, however, why not give the opportunity to cooperate with us and those who for some reason do not want to leave their hometown. ”
