The continuation of a series of crash tests waterproof phones Sonim, Samsung and Sony. Part 2

Last time we presented the first three mobile phone tests. Namely: aquarium , pool and shower-sharko . Today we offer to look at the final three tests.

Three phones reached this stage . All of them have a serious level of protection from exposure to the environment, in particular, moisture:

1. Sonim XP3300 Force - IP67
2. Samsung Galaxy xCover S5690 - IP67
3. Sony Xperia Go - IP68

Test number 4: Centrifuge

One of the classic phrases that customers of mobile phone repair centers say is: “I washed the jeans in whose pocket my phone was lying.” We could not ignore this topic in our experiment. The phones were placed in a transparent centrifuge, which is very similar to a washing machine.

Test # 5: Contrast Baths

Recall once again that special waterproof phones are involved in the tests. True, the instructions do not mention what temperature can be water. And if it is not said, we will check the whole range: from 0 to almost 100 degrees Celsius. Maybe water is different.

Test 6: Deep Diving

In the last test, we simulate an immersion of 30 meters. It can safely be called a fatal "crash test". Neither the manufacturers, nor we, undertake to assume what will happen with mobile phones under such pressure. But it only stirs interest and curiosity.



Now, to complete the picture, it remains to make an attempt to restore all the phones. And this we will do next time in intensive care .
