A snippet is a small piece of code that a programmer repeatedly uses in his practice.
I myself use snippets not so long ago, but in practice I appreciated their benefit. There were situations when I needed a piece of code that I wrote recently, but I could not remember where it is located. Rescued the Internet, but I should have my own work. And it’s not for nothing that I collected them for so long. After a brief search, there were several interesting specialized services just for snippets. And so I liked these sites, that I decided to do something similar or even better :)

I chose speed as my main priority. Let it be as fast as my knowledge and skills are enough. And the site turned out really fast (my opinion). For the rest: syntax highlighting, snippet grouping, search, favorites, commenting and draft.

I see one of the main advantages of this resource being the ability to find solutions from other users. After all, not one, I will keep snippets there. In such a global repository, you can find a solution for almost any task.

I collected the site in my free time. My workmates greeted me cool. Although there were people willing to help and even participate in the micro-project.
I like the idea of ​​the service for snippets and I also like the implementation. I did =) I’d just understand if people need it? Many chips I have not had time to implement. But I can finish them endlessly, and the site will be unnecessary and useless for people. Give advice, do I need to continue to develop my offspring or to abandon and not waste time? Do developers need such tools at all and would YOU use this assistant?
