Internet resource mozilla-europe .org is now available in Russian . The company Mozilla Europe, the owner of the resource, intends to contribute to the distribution of open source software in the Russian-speaking community. “More than 200 million people in the world speak Russian, and we are happy to help spread Firefox and Thunderbird among our potential users,” said Mozilla Europe President Tristan Nyhot, commenting on the opening of the Russian version of the site.
With the addition of the Russian language and thanks to the efforts of volunteers helping to localize and promote open source software in Europe, the official European Mozilla website is now available in 22 languages, including recently added Danish and Turkish.
