People who are not too deeply familiar with the problems of artificial intelligence, but who are interested in them, have to get acquainted with the achievements in this area through journal articles full of exaggerations and unreliable information. As a result, many people are aware of the unimaginable possibilities of already working quantum computers, artificial neural networks, or digital evolution, where the first artificial intelligence is about to emerge. Behind all these are real scientific discoveries, but their retelling by people seeking sensations turns out to be nothing more than fiction. These discoveries, which constitute the very essence of progress in a certain scientific field, are described in special literature that is understandable only to professionals. It is extremely difficult to present them in a clear and interesting form for a layman. However, this is exactly what the author managed to do in the presented book. It not only presents basic information from the field of AI in an accessible way, but also debunks many of the myths that are widespread in the popular science environment, and even very realistic, and not fantastic, paths that can lead to the creation of real artificial intelligence are outlined.

PS: I can personally add on my own that this is the first book on AI that I was able to master. Attempts to get to the end in other publications, despite the interest in this area ended in nothing, due to my lack of special knowledge.
