How does he work



If you do not need sensitivity to pressure, you can do nothing and just draw them on the tablet. At the tip there is a so-called precision disc.
Data on pressing the stylus transmits over bluetooth, inside the battery, which lasts for 12 hours; The kit includes a usb charger.
In iOS, there is no support for styluses, so adonit made its API, with which applications can get the amount of pressure.

Battery

The magnet is strong, you can turn it as you please: it will not fall out.
The trouble may be that it is difficult to charge it from some models of keyboards with usb ports or from a system integrator: only via a usb extension cable.

Connection



To connect via bluetooth, you must enter the PIN code 0000, you can not change it. The connection does not fall, at least, I have never lost (in some forums they write reviews that the iPad is losing it, but I was lucky). After it is connected, applications usually need to enable Jot Touch support, then they will use it. In applications without Jot Touch support, it will behave like a regular stylus, that is, without pressure sensitivity.

Sensitivity


Actually, you only need to connect the stylus so that applications can access the amount of depression. The delay in data transfer is not noticed. There are two interesting points:

The adonit API is already integrated into applications such as:

In applications (for example, ProCreate and SketchBook, others do not know), you can choose what the pressure will affect: opacity or size (but you can't do it together). In ProCreate, in order to change the size of the brush depending on the click, you need to enable the Glazing option (such an undocumented feature). Buttons usually perform undo-redo functions, but some applications allow you to change their purpose.
