Smartphone on Android with e-ink: a week without recharging

Readers on electronic paper are already widespread - their screens can be annoyingly slow, but they do not fade in the sun and consume a minimum of energy, spending it only on updating pages. As a matter of fact, it is even strange that we were not offered phones with such screens before, which is now compensated by the Chinese office of Onyx International, having released the first Android smartphone with e-ink.

The Android interface, of course, is heavily modified to fit the black and white screen, and I must admit that most of the “user experience” associated with graphics is gone - with e-ink you will have to forget about YouTube and Angry Birds.

But for mail, the Internet, Facebook and Foursquare it is quite suitable. Yes, and you can use it in any light, but such a smartphone lives on a single charge the whole WEEK (first, the creators talked about the month, but then wisely lowered the forecast).
