Google convenes everyone to an Android event in New York on October 29 (Windows Phone 8 comes out the same day).
They say that the new Nexus and Android 4.2 will be presented. And if we assume that Android 4.2 will be a relatively small incremental update (which follows from many preliminary reviews), then all the attention will get a new ( or new? ) Smartphone.
