Not so long ago, Xbox announced a number of updates to the Xbox system. Among them were “recommendations and ratings”, “Xbox video”, “Last viewed videos, apps, games” and a number of others. But the most prominent was the addition of the Internet Explorer browser. Starting from yesterday, IE is available in the Xbox LIVE service and for Xbox LIVE Gold Members.

The browser allows you to watch websites on your TV screen and includes a large number of features, such as the ability to personalize the dashboard system, pinning your favorite websites to it, and also allows you to view HTML5 video.

Earlier this year, at the E3 conference, the Xbox team
demonstrated the “power” of the web on TV. Now, with the upcoming release of Windows 8 on October 26, customers can use the
Xbox SmartGlass tablet, which allows you to easily navigate the Internet using functions such as text input, scrolling, scaling, thereby providing the same user experience between TV, Windows 8 tablets and Windows Phone.
