True Skin: The Neon Future

Independent sci-fi shorts have been booming in recent years. Recall the damn boring Iron Sky. This is due to the fact that it has become much easier to create special effects and distribute the finished product - crowdfunding, powerful computers and social networks have greatly simplified the release of low-budget movies.

A new example is the short film “True Skin” (from veteran clipmaker Stefan Zlotescu), which “is destined to become the future.”

This short film is an excellent example of work on the effects that combine the neon-filled streets of Blade Runner and new techniques of science fiction, such as voluntary prosthetics and augmented reality. And although you will not find many new ideas here, but True Skin is a great rework of old motives, and cyberpunk is always in fashion.
