Antivirus service will be built into Google Play

It seems that Google is going to tackle malicious software that somehow penetrates Google Play. The other day in the Google Play APK version 3.9.16, strings were found that were not previously present, and which can be a direct indication of the imminent inclusion of the anti-virus service in the Google Play environment.

These lines are:
')
App Check
“Allow Google to check all apps for harmful behavior? To learn more, go to Settings> Security. ”
Installing this app may harm your device
Installation has been blocked
Google recommends that you not install this app.
To protect you, Google has been blocked.
App name: “% s”
I understand that this app may be dangerous.
Verify apps?

As you can understand, the service consists of two parts. The first, “App Check,” allows Google to check the files of applications already downloaded by users. The second part checks the downloaded APK, warning about the malware. In addition, the application can be checked and the button "Verify apps?". As far as you can understand, the user, being sure of the security of a particular application, will be able to add it to the trusted list, and the Google Play antivirus system will no longer check such an application.

Actually, Google has already created a service that checks applications for malware. This is Bouncer, a service that runs on a server, and automatically removes malicious applications downloaded by unscrupulous developers. Well, the client anti-virus service, which is discussed above, is clearly not far off.

Most likely, the new development is based on the VirusTotal service, previously purchased by Google (the amount of the transaction is unknown).
