CIS Students Innovator Awards 2012.We review applications for software projects based on InterSystems technologies:

Who can participate?
A student, graduate student or team from a university in Russia, the CIS and the Baltic countries - a member of InterSystems Campus. You can find your college

Prize fund
The cash prize is paid to the three best teams of 60, 40 and 20 thousand rubles, respectively.
Project Topics
The competition offered options for those whose implementation is most interesting to the company. It is also possible to apply for a free topic.

1. DeepSee MDX + UICreate an application that implements the visualization of data from DeepSee cubes obtained using MDX queries to the DeepSee API, using any UI infographic components in the WEB or GUI.
2. eXTreme + .NET, java, node-jsCreate an application that uses InterSystems eXTreme direct data access technology when interacting with .NET, Java, node-js platforms.
Read more about the technology.3. Zen + jQuery UI, DhtmlX, ExtJS, Twitter BootstrapAs you know, InterSystems Zen is an ajax framework that allows you to extend the component library. Create a component or series of components that use ready-made jQuery UI components / plugins, DHTMLX, ExtJS, Bootstrap js components. Create sample Zen pages demonstrating how components work.
4. Eclipse - Studio for Caché ObjectScriptCreate a plug-in for Eclipse that implements and / or demonstrates an approach to using Eclipse as a full-fledged IDE for Caché / Ensemble projects. Among private tasks that need to be implemented:
- syntax highlighting Caché ObjectScript
- syntax check
- class compilation
- Code Completion for Caché Classes
- Caché Class / Program Method Launch Console.
High-quality implementation of even one of the particular tasks is recommended for submitting an application for a competition.
What projects are winning?
The announced projects are evaluated by engineers at InterSystems. Criteria for evaluation:
- commercial relevance
- idea
- code quality
- documentation
- use of new features of InterSystems technology
- completeness
Last year, won the
project team MEPI, dedicated to the development of document database, within NoSQL DBMS GlobalsDB.
Winners and prize winners will be assisted by InterSystems engineers in translating and fine-tuning an application for participation in the international
InterSystems Student Programming Competition .
