Firefox share has risen sharply to 12.93%
According to the latest statistics from OneStat.com, the popularity of the Firefox browser increased to 12.93% in July 2006. That is 1.14 percentage points. more than in May. After a long period of "stagnation", this is the first such sharp jump in popularity of Firefox.
At the same time, the share of Internet Explorer declined in two months by 2.12 ppt. up to 83.05%. The five most popular browsers also include Safari (1.84%), Opera (1.00%) and Netscape (0.16%).
Among all countries where measurements were taken, Firefox is most popular in Germany (39.02%), Australia (24.23%) and Italy (20.41%).
