Redirect static web pages appeared on Amazon S3

Amazon continues to develop static web hosting functionality. According to the company, it is now one of the fastest growing parts of Amazon Web Services. On August 31, support for Cross-origin resource sharing (CORS) appeared, and yesterday, October 4, it became possible to configure the redirect of static web pages. Now, when changing the site structure, links and bookmarks to old URLs will work if you include a redirect in the page metadata and specify a new URL.

The old address returns the HTTP status code 301 (Moved Permanently), so search engines must process the redirect without deteriorating the position of the page in the output. Instructions for setting up a redirect in all possible ways can be found here .
