According to the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications , revenues from the main activity in the telecommunications industry in January-March increased by 25.8% - up to 180.955 billion rubles, including traditional operators - by 14.9%, up to 69.525 billion rubles.
In the first quarter of 2006, 99.7 billion rubles was received from the population, which is 36.5% more than in the same period of 2005, including traditional operators - 31.7 billion, which is 16.6% more than a year earlier.
