Gmail has a search function for attachments

If you work closely with email and use Gmail as your email client, you should like this news. Google introduced a new feature search by using keywords / queries.

Previously, Gmail allowed you to search only text files. Now you can also search for files created in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office and others. The company had previously announced its intention to add a similar function, and quite a bit of time passed since this function was actually added.

It should be noted that other popular e-mail clients and services have been working with this feature for many years. Now Gmail allows you to search by attachments using keywords. So, to search by attachments, just enter “has: attachment” at the beginning of the search query (enter the query in the search string of the service itself). If you need a file of a certain type, you need to enter it in the request “filename: pdf”. This is if you are going to search by pdf-files.
