Google bought Ukrainian startup Viewdle for $ 30 million

The Board of Directors of Viewdle approved the takeover of Google by a startup, reports Watcher with reference to Forbes.ua .

As a result of the transaction, Google gets 100% of the Ukrainian company. However, the deal will be officially announced on the evening of October 2 in the presence of Google representatives, who have already arrived in Kiev.

The company Viewdle is developing technologies for recognizing faces and objects that are widely used in search services. Google has already used the development of Ukrainian programmers, running last year, the search for images.
