
On October 24-27, the VII Exhibition-Forum Infocommunications of Russia - XXI Century, or
Infocom-2007, will take place at the
Crocus Expo exhibition center in Moscow. According to the organizers of the exhibition,
Formika , Infocom 2007 will be a clear reflection of how the practical application of information technology helps to improve the quality of life in all areas of activity. A large exposition is being prepared by the
Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications , which will show its vision of the “city of the future”, where there is the most modern hospital, university, pharmacy, kindergarten and school. Among the exhibitors are also such major market companies as SvyazInvest, AFK Sistema, Rostelecom, MegaFon, MTT, Synterra, SkyLink, HP, IBM, NEC, Avaya, Cisco and many others.
For the guests of the exhibition there are scheduled special events, seminars and master classes introducing information technologies. Guests of the exhibition will be able to take part in the competition for assembling a computer for a while, watch the competitions on computer games, as well as the creation of online web pages, photo galleries, etc. Each visitor will be able to pass a free test and check their computer skills. Upon its completion, participants will receive a profile of their knowledge in the form of a diagram showing the level of computer literacy in comparison with the requirements of the ECDL standard.
In addition, this year the specialized “Job Fair” will be held at the exhibition for the first time. Both young professionals and professionals will be able to find promising jobs in the information technology and communications industry. To do this, you can look at the extensive job bank or have an interview with representatives of the personnel departments of leading companies right at the exhibition.
At Infocom 2007, both traditional conferences and seminars for this exhibition, as well as fundamentally new ones, dedicated to the most topical issues of the industry today will be held: “Business Forum”, round tables with the participation of top managers of large ICT business companies and government representatives, seminars and presentations of the latest developments of exhibiting companies. The exhibition will also include 3 international forums: the Russian-Chinese Forum, the II Russian-Japanese Forum and the Russian-Israeli Business Forum, which will be visited by communications ministers from different countries.
