NICK: IRNT 2007

On Sunday, “ Art. Lebedev Studio ” held the first design competition in the observable history, where the decisive role was played not by creative flair and sense of proportion, not by the use of an instrument and a firm hand, but simply by the legs. The 50-meter race under the meaningful slogan “ Morality and creativity: innovative solutions of the beginning of the millennium ” on the paths saturated with history and rainwater on the banks of the Patriarch's Pond clearly showed that, firstly, participation is almost as pleasant as winning and, secondly, you should never forget about keeping fit.

Since no descriptions will be able to convey the entire atmosphere that prevailed during the event, I will keep their number to a minimum. At this point, the phrase “look better than photos” would look logical, but the evil rock allowed me to shoot only a few frames at the very beginning of the race. Do not hit the lens: a wonderful girl, who ran at number 213, made of something, wrapped in yellow tape; The superman who became so because it happened and did not want to use his super abilities to win the race, limiting his speed to symbolic (possibly) 0.92 km / h (photo of a girl and Superman (that is, himself) was later sent by Nikolay Mitrofanov, for which many thanks to him!); tragically flown away from the foot of one of the athletes of the gym; the invasion of at least two respectable old women on a treadmill, causing a temporary halt of the competition; smiles of winners and grief of losers, worthy of places on the front page of the newspaper "Soviet Sport" (at least).






And finally, the names of the winners:

I place - Andrei Smirnov , snatched victory after the second final race; having collected his will into a fist, Andrew did everything to discard the doubts of the audience, which were heated (as it turned out, also dubious) by the results of the photo finish in the first race;
II place - Stepan Astionov , almost recognized as the winner by the results of the most ill-fated photo finish, but tragically missed the victory in the end;
III place - Alexei Nekrasov , whom many from the very beginning was considered the favorite of the competition and who, admittedly, most of all resembled a designer from the whole three winners.
