Best Switcher: Half Way

I would like to tell you that the “Best Switcher” contest has come to the middle of the path, and there are already 10 stories on the site : there are several transitions to the Mac, the most popular story for today is # 2 from a girl (it’s written that you just can’t put a minus), one about returning to Windows, two about Linux + 2 “hackintoshniki” stories. And next Friday the winner will be announced. After talking with the ru_mac_fuck community in LJ, I realized that it would be right to announce the winner at the Apple users meeting on October 26th, the day the Mac OS X operating system, version 10.5, aka Leopard, was released.

So far, there has been no invitation from Apple for a special event, but everyone is sure that Steve Jobs will personally introduce the new system and other new items next Friday in one form or another. “Yablochniki” in Moscow on such days gathers in some cafe with wi-fi, and the news from Jobs will be recognized by friendly and working communication. Most likely, it will be this time. The gathering place has not yet been determined, but there will definitely be an announcement in the community.
