From Monday, September 24, laptops are prohibited in the regional parliament of Schleswig-Holstein. Deputies of the Pirate Party protested and promised to appeal to the Constitutional Court. In the meantime, one of the deputies Patrick Brewer (Patrick Breyer) found a way out. Instead of the traditional iPad, he brought a typewriter to the meeting .

The main reason for the ban on laptops - excessive noise from pressing the keys in parliament. Now only “mobile computers without a fan and a mechanical keyboard”, that is, tablets and smartphones, are allowed. There is also a ban on audio and video from mobile devices and their use for foreign purposes, especially to send messages to Facebook and Twitter during plenary sessions.

The second deputy of the Pirate Party, Angelika Beer, also brought a typewriter, even more elegant.
