RIM promises $ 10,000 per app

News on Blackberry Developer website:

RIM offers developers up to $ 10,000 per app.
To participate in a promotion, an application must meet the following criteria:

• the application must be sent to the BlackBerry App World before January 21, 2013
• for the year it must be downloaded at least 100 times
• for the year the application must bring at least $ 1000 in sales

Subject to these (and some other) conditions, RIM will pay the developer a difference of up to $ 10,000.
