Remember the retro Spectrum ZX with ubuntu

Not so long ago

More recently, when the trees were large, my friends and I waited for the moment when the game would begin. We waited along with Spectrum, audio cassettes with games and notebooks in backpacks. The latter, however, did not prevent us from listening to the sound of the download and counting the skeins using an analog device.

So, the last moment of the download and we get at our disposal masterpieces!
We had these:

and arcanoid

Despite the limited number of games - we were not torn off from the TV, which was located in the Palace of Pioneers in the “Radio Amateur” circle.

And after N years passed, nostalgia took over and, joyfully recalling past battles, having ubuntu at hand I wanted past battles.

Emulator

Fortunately, everything turned out to be easy:
Examining the available tools was found http://sourceforge.net/projects/spectemu/ .
Having received the archive, everything is as usual: c using
./configure
make
make install

we get xspect .

A game!

Unexpectedly, there was a multitude of resources with similar content, and by visiting the Miracle Resource , all the benefits of mankind became available for the spectrum.

Now remember all or death!
xspect /home/ai/Downloads/EXOLON.TAP and I have a gray screen:



Press "J" to get the LOAD, enter two quotes (""), press Ctrl + o to read from the tape and about the Miracle! Download begins.
