Samsung has launched Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) on its Galaxy S III smartphones in Europe.

Samsung confirmed the start of the update, adding that it will be “gradually introduced in other markets,” however, without any additional information about specific markets and dates. "The availability and schedule of software updates will vary depending on the requirements of the market and wireless operators." Easy Mode. Users will be able to install 5 large Easy widgets on the main screen, which will provide quick and easy access to frequently used applications. Easy widgets include both 4 × 2 and 4 × 4 “layouts” of Favorite contacts, Favorite applications, Favorite settings, as well as Clock and alarm.
Blocking Mode. Convenient mechanism that allows users to block incoming calls, notifications, alarms and LED indicators for a certain period of time.
The pause function will be added to the camcorder, so now users can easily stop and resume recording.
Now users, by changing the size of the player window, will be able to watch videos anywhere on the phone screen while other applications are running.
