Philips CitiScape with a flat cable: Headphones that are not confused-2

Today we have the second version of the headphones, which (according to manufacturers' assurances) are not confused. Let me remind you that the first option is also Philips headphones , one of the THE SPECKED line with a braided cable.
This time, as a test subject, I took a model with a flat cable, from the CitiScape - ST line. Germain

Now about the headphones themselves. These are intra-channel (vacuum, as they are called, even though they otpali me in the past topic for this word), half-open type (in the next photo you can see two holes - near the transition to the cable and under the gum mount)

The technology is the same as in the entire line of small headphones - a neodymium magnet, a mylar mylar dome, a coil of copper-clad aluminum wire. Why this is done - I do not know, but I feel with my ass that it is somehow connected with the skin effect.

By the way, in the photo above you can see the pimples so admiring me on the left earpiece - in order to understand which earpiece is left and which right is, just hold your finger.

Well, about wires from oxygen-free copper, I think you should not remind - this is a lure for audiophiles. We are normal people.
Wire to headphones with a length of 1.2 meters, Y-shaped, as I like. Flat, by virtue of it gets confused, really, less - due to the fact that it cannot bend in one coordinate, the number of degrees of freedom decreases. This, of course, does not save from knots that are difficult to untangle - the sheath of the wire is still made of rubber-like plastic.
I wonder if this decision will affect the lifetime of the wire at the outlet of the plug?

The site proposes to connect them in such a way, then wrap them in a wire and put them in my pocket, which I did not succeed in - inconvenient. Therefore, we use the classic version:

Unusual solution - from it you can pull one wire through the side. We had to resort to such a decision because of the location of the microphone and the button closer to the headphones, and not in the place where the wires were separated, as in classical headsets.
Sound? There is. Good, strong middling, without obvious failures or peaks. It suits me both for music and for conversations.
