Results of the Semifinals of the MRL concept selection
On September 12, 2012, the Semifinal of the Selection of the Mobile Diagnostic Device Skolkovo MD concept was launched. The foundation program launched in early July revealed many interesting projects: more than fifty teams from Russia, Belarus, Germany and Switzerland took part in the Selection. All participants have done important work that should not go unnoticed. The jury, consisting of specialists in the field of information technology and health, has identified a list of 13 teams, the concept of which most meet the stated requirements. These teams reached the Final of Selection, which will be held on December 12, 2012. The list of finalists includes 12 Russian teams and one joint Russian-Swiss one.
The teams that reached the Final have a wide experience in the development of medical devices:
The AngioScan team has experience in developing six mobile medical devices, the introduction of which was of great importance for healthcare in the field of innovative non-invasive diagnostic methods.
The members of the Global Sensor Network team belong to a number of developments in the field of biosensor creation, as well as biological fluid analysis, which uses microchannel matrix technology.
The RWM Group was established by the RWM-Alliance company, known for its work in high-tech and high-tech areas and developing in the Russian market for years, not for the first time. The team offers a device based on Biosing Instruments technology.
The following projects have been successfully implemented for the members of the “Keeper” team: a device for monitoring stress states and a device for remote monitoring of the physical condition of swimmers.
The RUSSWI team has extensive experience in the field of medical diagnostics and a list of successfully completed projects in the field of medicine, telemedicine and electronics (more than 15 projects).
The main activities of the FRUCT team are software development for mobile devices, cross-platform development, research and development of future services based on the Internet of things and smart spaces.
The Gelius team was formed not so long ago, but the team members already have extensive experience in developing application programs and a number of industrially manufactured devices and medical systems.
The AstMedCom team has extensive experience in the planning and organization of innovative research in the field of medicine.
The SNEZHINSK team is known for its developments in the field of electrochemical fluid analyzers, as well as in the field of sensor devices.
Members of the DynAcSys team have many years of experience studying the mechanisms of living systems, mathematical and software modeling of cognitive neuro-simulators and work on the creation and implementation of pattern recognition systems and artificial intelligence systems.
The Personal Thermograph team has a wide experience in research in the field of thermal diagnostics, development and launch of diagnostic devices on the market.
The NMSIS team specializes in the development, implementation and maintenance of automated information systems in the field of preventive medicine.
Members of the i-Bolit team have experience in developing methods for rapid diagnosis and equipment for EHF-puncture therapy, to monitor the functions of the cardiovascular system, to characterize the pathologies of the heart block.

Before December 1, teams must submit ready-made concepts for their devices. The winner of the selection will be determined on December 12 during the final event at the Digital October center, to which all the semi-finalists of the competition are invited. Each team will be able to present their projects to the spectators of the final and to the jury members, and the winner, who proposed the best solution, will receive a prize of up to 9 million rubles.
