Yandex opens a program to search for vulnerabilities

Yandex announces "Hunting for bugs." This is a program for finding vulnerabilities in web services and in Yandex mobile applications for iOS and Android. Anyone can try to find security problems in them and get a cash prize for it. It will be from 3,000 to 30,000 rubles (and in special cases even more), depending on the severity of the detected vulnerability.

Security issues that are accepted for participation in the competition and can be rewarded are technical flaws, using which you can violate the integrity or confidentiality of user information, as well as change the access rights to it.

Users from any country can take part in the program. The field of activity is huge. You can search for vulnerabilities on Yandex services in domains yandex.ru, yandex.com, yandex.com.tr, yandex.kz, yandex.ua, yandex.by, yandex.net, yandex.st, ya.ru, moikrug.ru ( except service People). The list of mobile applications includes Yandex.Maps, Navigator, Music, Taxi, Mail, Market, Metro, Photos, Trains and Disc. Yandex has already attracted its users to search for vulnerabilities. Last year a competition was announced, which took place during a month.
