13 gigapixel xkcd comics

Yesterday's comic book Xkcd Click and Drag is a real quest that can take a whole day to complete. Comics entirely takes 165.888 x 79.872 px, that is 13 gigapixels. If you print it with a resolution of 300 dpi, you get a poster of 14 x 6.75 meters.

By evening, manuals appeared on the Internet, a zoom version , a low-res skilled map ( 1 , 2 ), a special bookmarklet to the browser to generate fake mouse movements to scroll the comic from the keyboard, and a full-screen version with scrolling from the keyboard.

All parts of the comic in hi-res can be downloaded via torrent . The full version is assembled from 225 pictures 2048x2048, with a total volume of 5.52 MB. In the form of glued through the browser can be viewed here .
