Google Play developers from Russia can now receive bank transfers through Google Checkout

Good news for many Russian game and application developers came from the Google Checkout team. Prepared an important update that will allow developers from Brazil, Russia and Taiwan to receive bank transfers for sales on Google Play through Google Checkout account. Developers will receive the next scheduled payment through a Google AdSense account, but the new payment method will be used in the future.



To do this, the user is invited to enter the details of his bank in the appropriate form. I was somewhat amused by the inscription under the Account number field “Bank transfers can only be sent to account holders in the US”, although the information in the help center is different - “Attention! Payments to partners from the Russian Federation can only be made to bank accounts opened in US dollars. ”In any case, you can easily link a Payoneer card with an open US Payment Service.

The details of the usual VTB 24 debit card have been entered (this is not advertising, the bank, to be honest, is below any criticism, but this is a topic for another conversation).
