Chameleon 1.0 released

This spring on Habré , the project Chameleon was mentioned , which at that time was a project on KickStarter and is a launcher for Android with a curious idea, which, to tell the truth, was somewhat repeated by the Google Now function in the summer release of Jelly Bean.

The release was promised in September of this year and, as you can see, the Chameleon team ended up well, not only with the fundraising, but also with the development. Now Chamelon is available in the Play Market in two versions - for those who supported the project on Kickstarter and can get the result of the work for free and a paid version for all others who want to try the novelty (though the average rating of the application is not yet encouraging).

The work of the launcher is similar to the work of Google Now - the application tries to predict the needs of the user, depending on the time and location of the user. For example, in the morning Chameleon shows mail, morning news, social network updates, traffic data, accidents, and the like. During the day - while at work - currency rates, gasoline prices, tickets and other business information are shown. In the evening, the user will be offered all sorts of entertaining information such as updates on YouTube channels, new Reddit articles and so on. In this case, all screens and all widgets (these are HTML5 applications, API Chameleon is attached), which show information that can be customized by the user.

The cost of the application is $ 10 (by the way, those who donated $ 5 or more to KickStarter can get the application for free). The required Android version is from 3.2 and up.
