BioWare founders Greg Zeschuk and Ray Music left the studio. Both note that they didn’t have any conflicts with Electronic Arts (the company that BioWare currently owns), they just decided to take on new projects.

Greg Zeschuk will participate in the creation of the online program “The Beer Diaries” (“Beer Diaries”), dedicated to the creators of beer. Greg is not going to return to the gaming industry and assumes that such a desire he will not have in the future.

Music, in turn, said that he had achieved everything he wanted in the gaming industry. In the future, he intends to cooperate with charitable organizations working in the fields of education, medicine and animal protection.
Reports of Greg Zeschuk's departure from BioWare appeared in the press in early August 2012 (at that time he was the general manager of the Austin-based division of the studio). A spokesman for Electronic Arts later denied this information. According to the company, Zeschuk really left the post of head of BioWare Austin, intending to take a vacation and spend it with his family. After that, Greg supposedly was supposed to continue cooperation with EA.
Canadian studio BioWare was created in 1995. In the fall of 2007, it became known that the studio was bought by Electronic Arts. BioWare has worked on games like Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Jade Empire, Mass Effect and Dragon Age.
That's how the whole era ends.
