Yesterday the meeting of the program committee of the
Client Side 2007 conference was held. At this conference, all aspects of the development of Web applications from the point of view of the client (browser), such as JS, XML, JSON, Flash, SilverLight, and much more, will be touched upon. The meeting was held in order to determine the list of reports that will participate in the conference.
It is interesting that it was at this time and just on the Sparrow Hills, where the meeting took place, a football match was held between Russia and England. So when I rode on it, there was a crowd of excited fans around me; when driving back, the situation repeated. The guard didn’t even ask for the documents, instead he excitedly exclaimed: “Ours lead 1: 0!”
(As it turned out, ours didn’t keep 1: 0, the guard had slyed) . Just by chance, the meeting was organized in a cafe, where a crowd of excited fans with scarves and beer sat in front of the TV projector, screaming in every possible way, whistling, screaming - preventing intelligent people from modestly deciding the fate of the world. Toward the end of the meeting, wild cries were heard, and the news came from fans with scarves and beer that ours made a miracle: we won England 2: 1!
And at the meeting itself was, though noisy, but very interesting and fun. This is not surprising, because about 30 IT people who have one or another relation to interfaces and client programming have gathered. And everyone vividly discussed each report, trying to cross out only the most uninteresting.

I will summarize. Reports will be extremely interesting not only to Web-programmers, layout designers and designers, but also technical and strategic managers of Web-companies. In addition to a number of overview and special reports, guru workshops in their fields will be held in parallel and throughout the two days of the conference. In addition, as usual at such conferences, being present at it gives you the opportunity to establish business and professional contacts, which is also very important.
This is my first posting on Habré, do not judge strictly and tell me if something is wrong.
