Working with AdMob in Russia will become easier from October 1, 2012

For Russian developers of mobile applications using AdMob as a means of monetization there is good news. From October 1, the new instruction of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation will come into force.

Chapter 5. General Provisions
5.1. The requirements of this section apply to the following contracts (contracts,
agreements, preliminary agreements, proposals for concluding such agreements (agreements),
containing all the essential terms of the contract ( offer, public offer ) concluded between
residents and non-residents, draft contracts (contracts, agreements) that provide for
the implementation of currency transactions related to settlements through the accounts of residents opened in
authorized banks, and (or) through accounts of residents opened with non-resident banks (hereinafter referred to as agreements)

As far as I know, many Russian developers do not issue IP, because they are afraid of difficulties with VC in banks that require signed contracts or other documents that are not possible to receive from AdMob.

The new document partially clarifies this point, and from October 1, 2012, PI and LLC should have fewer problems with the bank’s foreign exchange control when generating income from AdMob or other organizations working on a public offer.
