Sony has introduced an updated PlayStation 3

Due to the fact that rumors about the work of Sony and Microsoft corporations on new versions of their gaming consoles remain only rumors, companies have to increase sales of current models of consoles by other means. The company will supply updated versions of consoles in two versions, the only difference is in the available amount of file space. So, the first version comes with a 250 GB hard disk, the second version comes with 500 GB. In this case, the dimensions of the device are really small: 289.5 * 60 * 230 mm.

Sales of the younger model will begin from September 25, first in the US, then in other countries. The cost of the updated version is 269.99 US dollars. In addition to the console itself, the buyer will receive another game, Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Game of the Year Edition, plus a voucher for making additional purchases.



As for the older model, it will appear in US stores five days later, on September 30. The cost of a device with 500 GB of memory is $ 299.99. This console comes with Assassin's Creed III, plus a one-month PlayStation Plus subscription.



As for Russia, here the older model will be sold starting from September 28. But the younger model will be different from the one that goes on sale in the United States. In the Russian Federation, consoles will be supplied not with a 250 GB drive, but with a 12 GB SSD drive.
