Released updated Group Policy Reference for Windows Server 2012 and Windows 8

Yesterday, an updated Group Policy Reference for Windows Server 2012 and Windows 8 was made available on the Microsoft Download Center. It added 175 new administrative settings (27 for users and 138 for computers) and 4 security settings introduced specifically for Windows Server 2012 and Windows eight.

In the Excel document, several other (and useful) columns were also added:

• Is a reboot required
• Required logout
• AD or Domain Schema Requirements : A value of "Yes" means that you must extend the AD schema before implementing this group policy.
• Status : The value “New” in the column means that this setting was entered in Windows Server 2012 and Windows 8. However, this means that this setting applies only to the specified systems.
