IPv4 agony beginning: last / 8

The “last / 8” phase has begun. RIPE NCC has the last unallocated / 8 network (16 million addresses).

What is this phase? Each LIR (local registrar) will be issued at / 22 (1024) addresses, even if it needs more.
And that's all. That's all. Read more here: www.ripe.net/internet-coordination/ipv4-exhaustion . And PI-addresses (provider-independent) are no longer issued. Now.
Only the reserves of the LIRs themselves will remain (it is clear that in recent months all the hamsters have done nothing to themselves, but how long will this last?).
This means that in the near future there will be no new IPv4 addresses. Roy will not be able to grow further. The old addresses will work as they worked, but the new ones ...
The number of this network is 185.0.0.0 / 8. So if you see IP's on 185 - know, this is eaten up last.
Note, we are talking about Europe and a piece of Asia (RIPE). The rest of the regions are still (seemingly?) Holding out, but they will all end soon. Obviously, there will be no transfer from other zones (maybe only from Africa, and they too, all of a sudden, have Internet access.)
What's next? Nobody gives exact forecasts, but:
1) Approximately within half a year (most likely, less) normal stocks of LIR addresses will end
2) Then they will go to the reserve address spaces freed up by consolidation.
3) “Own network” will become exotic, since precious IP on the network and Broadcast are lost there. All will try to pack up in large / 24 (or their / 22) networks.
4) Providers will stop issuing white IPs for free - and more will be those who natit.
5) The market of legal entities for which only a seal is of assets, and a PI / LIR-status block will grow (IP transfer between companies is not a sale and can be wrapped up by the RIPE NCC)
6) Increasingly, gateways will appear, which by domain name will proxy requests to different servers (by gray addresses and IPv6). Perhaps even as a separate service.
