There have already been some news on Habré that Gottfried Swarthholm, co-founder of The Pirate Bay, was arrested in Cambodia at the request of a Swedish court. This case was discussed on the Web for some time, and many users thought that the matter would not come to deportation. Nevertheless, on September 10, Svartholm was deported to Sweden. And there is nothing good waiting for him.
The fact is that he did not appear in 2009 for the sentencing in the case of Thepiratebay. Instead, Svartholm left for Cambodia, where he lived until recently. At the same time, Gottfried did not hide, and the authorities of this country knew perfectly well where he lived and who he was. But some time ago he was arrested. It is rumored that the Government of Cambodia will receive $ 59 million from the court of Sweden for its assistance.

I wonder if the authorities show such quickness when they are looking for serious criminals. Do such money pay for swindlers and murderers? All this is positioned as the investment of Sweden in the development of Cambodia. Help, as we see, is rather big. For the sake of receiving a “prize”, the Cambodian authorities even ignored the fact that there was no agreement on the extradition of criminals between the two countries.
However, Gottfried goes / flies (or has already arrived) to Sweden, where he is definitely in for a lot of trouble.
