ASUS PadFone is a 4.3-inch smartphone with Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system (and then upgraded to Android 4.1), which, when installed in a special ASUS PadFone Station module, turns into a 10.1-inch tablet computer with a long running time talk time (up to 63 hours).

The smartphone has a Super AMOLED display with qHD resolution and a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor with a frequency of 1.5 GHz. The module ASUS PadFone Station does not have its own processor, it uses the capabilities of a smartphone. At the same time, DynamicDisplay technology provides instant switching between smartphone and tablet modes: most applications automatically change their size according to the current mode.

In addition to the 10.1-inch display, the PadFone Station contains a built-in battery that increases battery life. In addition, you can connect a third component to them - the PadFone Station Dock keyboard module, resulting in a kind of netbook version. Another important element of the “matryoshka”: PadFone Stylus Headset is a stylus combined with a Bluetooth headset. Stylus headset allows you to answer calls without removing the smartphone from the station every time.
