The Japanese propose to create a digital copy of the person in the smartphone

Japanese startup alt. Inc. (recorded as al +), announced an application for iOS that claims to be the first personalized artificial intelligence (PAI).

It is reported that the purpose of the work of their free application will be the gradual creation of a digital copy of the user's identity living in the cloud storage. According to the creators, the application will monitor the user's activity in social networks and the use of other applications by him, as a result of which he will gradually become more and more like his real owner.

Moreover, this PAI will exchange information with others, and thus self-educate and humanize. The learning speed of the application should increase exponentially with an increase in the number of running applications. After careful personalization, the data on the digital identity can be transferred to another user - apparently, so that he can communicate with the digital copy.

Unfortunately, the developers do not specify how this digital person will appear - in a text chat, through messages in social networks, or something else. Despite the loud statements of the developers about the first such breakthrough since the creation of personal computers and the general pathos of the idea, everything will depend on the specific implementation.

It is not surprising that shy Japanese seek to create a digital copy of a person. Or, respecting ancestors, they are looking for an opportunity to consult with a long-dead grandmother. And knowing about their perseverance in achieving the goal, it remains only with caution to wait for the moment when they succeed. As for al +, then with healthy skepticism it can be assumed that the application is unlikely to go beyond analyzing hundreds of user tweets with the ability to create a 101st similar to them. And judging by the many participants in modern social networks, this will not be such a strong algorithmic breakthrough.
