Nokia introduced the flagship line of Lumia. And there are many new things in it. And encouraging. At least at first glance.
')
First, the smartphone is indeed equipped with a PureView camera. As the head of Nokia’s photo unit has already hinted, PureView is not only and not so much camera resolution as a combination of breakthrough technologies in the field of photography. So, the smartphone is equipped with the so-called “liquid lens”, which provides image stabilization and allows you to take non-lubricated photos with much longer exposure than any other smartphone on the market, although the matrix itself fits in a rather thin body.
Do not forget about the sound quality when recording video - in the smartphone there are as many as three microphones that are protected from overload and can record sounds up to 140 dB. Also, the smartphone has a new PureMotion HD + display. According to Nokia, the switching speed of pixels in this display is 2.5 times higher than that of any other screen. Moreover, the screen with HD resolution and a diagonal of 4.5 inches is equipped with a new generation of technology Clear Black, - now the polarization layer can adapt to the light, allowing you to get a high readability of the image on the screen. In addition, the smartphone is equipped with a new technology tachovogo display - it perceives pressing as "bare" fingers, and gloved hands.
Lumia 920 works with Qi wireless charging standard - it is possible to charge from any wireless charger that supports this technology, as well as in the traditional way.
The smartphone is dressed in a polycarbonate case. Several colors are available: red, yellow, gray and black.
From the point of view of innovation, Lumia 920 combines a number of interesting features.
So, this is the first smartphone of the company with a dual-core Qulacomm 8960 processor. This processor is standard for all smartphones on Windows Phone 8 and has already shown itself quite well on flagships with Android. One of the reasons for its popularity among all manufacturers is the integrated chip for working with LTE - the Lumia 920 will be able to work on the Megafon / Yota network.
The smartphone has NFC support, for which Nokia introduced a range of accessories - docks, headphones, headsets.
The battery is known to have a capacity of 2000 mA / h. Considering the rather “calm” temper of the installed processor, this is quite a large capacity, but it’s naturally too early to judge the duration of work.
The built-in memory in the smartphone is 32 GB, but there is no possibility to expand it with memory cards - apparently, the company decided not to make additional holes in the case, although such storage capacity will be enough for 99% of its customers.

Summary
Now the network is full of various comments about the presented smartphone. Not taking the side of critics or fans, it should be noted that the attention to the announcement was very large - all the event hashtags entered the Twitter trend. It’s not cool to treat the novelty yet - on the one hand, it has a whole range of unique technologies that have not yet been demonstrated by any manufacturer. This is a new camera with image stabilization (its quality has yet to be verified), and a new screen with advanced IPS technology, called the PureMotion HD +, and the ability to use a smartphone in gloves.
However, the presentation was not held at the highest level - poor video broadcasting, lengthy speeches and other negative moments inflame passions, so it’s too early to talk about the perception of the new product - and emotions should cool down and you should look at the new iPhone.
It is regrettable that there was little information about Windows Phone OS (we will try to fill this gap in a separate article), it was not said when gadgets could be bought, and at what price. Perhaps the company wanted to look at what Apple would do, and in accordance with this, correct their plans, but they grabbed the primary negative impression.
However, to abstract from all these moments, the 920th is a very interesting device, which, for a number of aspects, is unique. But its success in the market depends not only on its properties, but on the adequacy of pricing and marketing of Nokia and Microsoft.
