The fight against "pirates", whoever they are, continues throughout the world. Of course, in Russia such a struggle is also underway. Now the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation has already prepared a draft law that imposes responsibility for counterfeit products, so to speak, on telecom operators and site administrators. So the postscript “the site administration is not responsible for the materials posted by users” will become even more useless than before.
Providers and site administrators should not only closely monitor the pirates, but also prevent the spread of "pirates" by any means. The most interesting thing is that now the law proposes to introduce the term "accomplice" - now they will call those sites where links to pirated materials from third-party sites are placed. That is, it turns out that not only the pirated programs themselves, music and video need to be fought, but also with links on their websites, links that lead to third-party resources. One can only imagine the difficulties and problems that will stand in the way of a law-abiding company and / or site administrator.

The draft law mentions not enough developed judicial practice in relation to pirates. Now, as far as it can be understood, the government is very active in creating laws that will protect rights holders and their “assets”.
