Guardians of the order are asked to figure out how much damage the corporation has caused a businessman from Osakarovka.
For more than a year, law enforcement officers cannot punish George Michelson. An entrepreneur was brought into action for using an unlicensed version of a computer program. But they cannot be held accountable because they cannot find out how much damage a businessman from Osakarovka has inflicted on Adobe.
Nv.kz told how the police received a statement from the Almaty company «Great Yassa». Lawyers of this company complained about businessmen from the village Osakarovka. Allegedly, entrepreneurs illegally use Photoshop, which means they violate the rights of its authors.
The police went with a test purchase to the businessman from Osakarovka Georgiy Mikhelson. In the salon "Golden Dragon" he sells stationery and takes photos for documents. The policeman asked to put on his picture jacket and tie. The wife of George processed the photo in “Photoshop”, gave it away, and the financial police immediately entered and began to withdraw the system unit. Businessmen didn’t deny that they didn’t buy the program, but downloaded it for free on the Internet. They repented and were ready to pay a fine. But the fine was not enough. On George Mikhelson opened a criminal case.

- Yes, we are guilty, used counterfeit products, - says the wife of a businessman, Elena. “But we did not inflict damage on the same huge amount!” We have two or three clients per week in the photo. Is it really timed for this?
The fact is that piracy is punished with a term and a fine. Criminal will be responsible or administrative - depending on the amount of damage. It cannot be determined by the police for more than a year. Therefore, in order to establish how much “Photoshop” and “other questions of interest” actually cost, our police sent a “legal aid order” to the United States of America. Since there "Photoshop" appeared and there is the head office of "Adobe" - reasoned the guards. Until the answer came from the States, the criminal case against George Mikhelson was suspended.
