Script.aculo.us 1.8. Overview

Thomas Fuchs announced a review of the release of the Script.aculo.us effects library .



Script.aculo.us version 1.8 includes :

- Prototype 1.6 (latest trunk version)

- Completely rewritten by Ajax.InPlaceEditor and Ajax.InPlaceCollectionEditor

- Full CSS inheritance in Effect.Morph

- New effect: Effect.Tween

- Sounds: play mp3 for sound effects; using native playback in IE

- Improved performance

- A bunch of fixed bugs
