Samsung ATIV S at IFA 2012: do not turn on the screen !!!
Every year at various exhibitions, IT journalists invariably find “secret” rooms in which a gadget is found (or even several), which was not officially announced, and cannot be found on public stands. An hour ago at IFA 2012 we were shown the door, behind which was the Samsung ATIV S smartphone.

The gadget is very similar to the Galaxy S3 in appearance, but largely differs from it in terms of hardware stuffing.
All controls are exactly in the same places as the flagship on Android, and the only difference is the camera shutter button - one of the requirements of Microsoft to smartphones running their new OSes.
The back cover of the ATIV S has the same texture, however, it is not varnished on top, which is why it doesn’t stain so much. It is also extremely thin (8.7 mm) and is also equipped with a 4.8-inch diagonal display. The resolution of the Super AMOLED matrix is 1280x720 pixels, however, we couldn’t check the viewing angles and screen behavior under bright lights, because The battery in the sample was simply missing. This is again Microsoft’s requirement not to show Windows Phone 8 before the designated time.
The stuffing of the ATIV S is not as outstanding as that of the S3:
The question of price remains not completely clear, and no one says when the gadget will be at least officially announced. But on the whole, the device turned out to be quite vigorous, the matter remained with the operating system.
