YotaPhone

Watching the news coming from IFA, which threaten like a horn of plenty, showered super-mega users with cool devices in the coming months, I’ve got acquainted with three phone models that Nokia recently released to the Russian market. These are the Nokia Asha 305, 306 and 311 models. I expect to write about these models directly later, but for now I thought about the simple phone segment and came up with a device that, in my opinion, would be in demand by so many consumers, especially due to the growing number of all sorts of smart gadgets, each of which give Wi-Fi, or SIM.

I took the simplest model of the phone, the Nokia 1280, for a design sample. I thought that the user should have such a simple dialer as the main phone. But! - Of course, there are several BUT. First of all, this dialer should support SD and microSD cards with hot swapping. That is, in fact, the phone must still be a card reader. Yes, and flash memory in it should be solid: 32-64 GB. That is, in addition to the dialer and card reader, this phone will also perform the function of the main mobile and non-cloud flash drive - you never know, and sometimes you do not want to keep everything in the cloud. Naturally, the phone should have a microUSB connector, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a flashlight. But the camera in this phone will not be any.

But it will support 3G + LTE and Wi-Fi Hotspot function. That is, in addition to the dialer, card reader and flash drive, this phone will also be the main mobile router that distributes Wi-Fi to the devices that you took with you. Thus, the user will not need to buy a SIM card for each device, and then also pay for them. And it will be possible to buy smart devices themselves without the support of 3G and LTE, which is much cheaper.

Naturally, such a phone should have a sufficiently capacious battery. Its capacity should ideally be enough for 20 hours of operation in Wi-Fi Hotspot mode. Well, the contact list should contain thousands of two contacts. Plus, FM radio, player and minimalistic file manager, controlled by arrow buttons and receive-end buttons, is for using the device as a card reader.

Considering that Yota provides a more or less normal LTE signal in Moscow, I thought that a similar phone could appear under this brand. I think the appearance of such a device would at least increase the sales of Yota routers.
