Kindle touch paperwhite

Here's another thing that Amazon may have in more detail on Thursday at a press conference in Los Angeles.

On The Verge there were pictures of the new Kindle Touch - Paperwhite.

The screen is the same high-quality eInk Pearl that is used in the entire Touch line, Paperwhite technology is the backlight, a kind of answer to B & N's GlowLight.

It is reported that the display will have a very high contrast and high resolution. And the new book will be able to work on one battery charge for up to 8 weeks (even when using the backlight).
