The first versions of the cubes, created in MIT, went on sale that year. Now these are all the same cubes with a diagonal of 1.7 inches, 1.5 inches of which occupies the screen. Only the new cubes have a touchscreen (the old ones had physical buttons), motion-responsive sensors, wireless communication, and support for improved graphics.
How it works ')
There are cubes that are powered by AAA batteries and can interact with each other in the amount of 12 pieces. There is a base that communicates with the cubes over the wireless link and ensures their interaction. It is possible to connect to a computer (usb) in order to download new games. In the video, everything looks a little clearer.
For game developers Sifteo by October promise to release the SDK.
Issue price
A set from the station (with five installed games) and 3 cubes will cost $ 130. Each additional cube is $ 30.
