Another holiday in the country of Linux

After Gnome celebrated its tenth anniversary on August 15, and Linux became an adult on September 17, it was KDE’s turn to accept congratulations.

The KDE project yesterday turned 11 years old. On October 14, 1996, Matthias Ettrich announced the start of the project, and what has come of this, many now see on his desktop.

The baby grew up healthy. Congratulations!
