Fursenko: by the end of 2007, the Internet will be let down in all schools
According to the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation, Andrei Fursenko, by the end of 2007, a national project in the field of education will provide all teachers and students with access to educational resources on the Web. The minister said this, speaking at parliamentary hearings in the State Duma.
Fursenko noted that 54 thousand educational institutions do not have access to the Internet now, but at the same time he hoped that the proposals for the ministry would be supported in the budget for 2007, and 12 thousand schools would receive modern computer classes, reports RIA Novosti .
