Obama held a press conference on Reddit

US President Barack Obama unexpectedly held a press conference on Reddit . At 16:30 ET (00:30 Moscow time), he launched his AMA session (Ask Me Anything) , which lasted about half an hour. For the first 12 minutes, the post collected more than 700 comments, and because of the influx of visitors for some time was generally unavailable. In total, there are now more than 14 thousand messages.

As required by the rules of the AMA- sessions, the president posted a photo of himself in front of the computer. He also gave a link to his tweet , with which he confirmed that he really is:

Obama answered questions about the economy, the military in Afghanistan and how difficult it is for young people to find work. There were also no questions about the favorite basketball player (Michael Jordan) and about the recipe of the White House brand beer (he promised to make it public soon).

As TechCrunch notes , the reddit gold trophy is in the President’s profile , which usually means that the user donated to the site. Mashable also noted that it is now known that Obama is using a Mac and Magic Mouse - and he has the Apple logo stuck with the Obama 2012 campaign sticker.
